The Atosa YR280-AP-161 Undercounter Ice Maker is designed for demanding foodservice environments that require consistent, high-capacity ice production in a compact footprint. Producing up to 283 lb of half-dice ice per 24 hours and storing 88 lb internally, this self-contained ice maker is perfect for busy restaurants, bars, hotels, coffee shops, and catering operations. Constructed with a durable stainless steel exterior and a slanted blue plastic bin door, the YR280-AP-161 is built for daily commercial use while allowing easy access to ice during peak service. The half-dice cube size (3/8” x 7/8” x 7/8”) is one of the most versatile ice types—ideal for cocktails, soft drinks, iced coffee, smoothies, and blended beverages. This unit features a heavy-duty variable-capacity compressor that reduces energy consumption and operating noise, paired with an air-cooled condenser for efficient performance. A removable air filter and an externally accessible power switch simplify routine maintenance and servicing. The YR280-AP-161 includes a 3M water filter system standard, improving ice clarity and helping extend the life of internal components. It is ENERGY STAR certified, NSF and ETL listed, and designed for freestanding or built-in installations. A drain connection is required, and the unit plugs into a standard NEMA 5-15P outlet.
