Limited edition no. 40 of 60 copies. Folding booklet with green leaves bound in grey card boards, bearing an illustration of a sheep. Yan Tan Tethera is an ancient counting system used by Lake District shepherds to count their flocks. This counting rhyme is still chanted by Borrowdale shepherds as they gather in their flocks. Each time 'jiggot' is reached the shepherd pockets a stone to designate twenty sheep, and the recitation is repeated. With an inscription 'from the printer' and doodle of half of a sheep to the colophon at the rear of the booklet.
